Aloha, e komo mai!

(Welcome, please come in!)

People often ask me,

"What's in your green shoulder bag?"

The answer: "my GAS MASK!"

I carried it EVERYWHERE after the attack on Pearl Harbor, which I watched from our front yard, only a few hundred yards from Ford Island and Battleship Row.

Looking back, I still remember the sights and sounds of that incredible day.

Just click on one of the options on this page, and I'll share my Pearl Harbor attack stories!
